How Easy is it to Lose a Child to Human Trafficking?

Monday afternoon a 12-year old girl ran away from home after an argument with her parents. She was found safe the next morning. However, statistics show that 7 out of 10 girls will run away at some time. In Orlando, another young runaway was “befriended” in the mall, later kidnapped and forced into human sex trafficking. Three years later she finally managed to escape. From 14 to 17, this young girl was beaten, drugged, and forced to have sex with multiple men per night. Her life will never be the same. Tell your children about human trafficking. Make them aware. Become aware yourself. Ignorance is not bliss. In this day and age, it is terrible and can bring horrific consequences.

Good info, sad story. People need to stop thinking this is something that only happens in third world countries!
