Human Trafficking Jacksonville, FL–good news again

Went to a great meeting this Saturday and heard some heartening news on Jacksonville’s campaign against Human Trafficking. The presenters highlighted three cases where convictions were brought down. In one case, the guilty party received 26 years in prison (if memory serves me correctly) and in another case, the human trafficker received life imprisonment! I am so thankful for juries that can convict in these cases and judges who are not afraid to hand down stiff penalties! Oh, and we cannot forget the law enforcement officers who helped gather the evidence that would send these people to prison!
